A DOUBLE-SIDED SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL PILL BOX BY KLEBNIKOV, RUSSIA, 19TH CEN. - This Russian pill box is octagonal with silver and cloisonne enamel following floral and geometrical motifs, with both sides matching. The underside of the lid is engraved, ”Grandma, / From Louise/ Christmas 1887.”, denoting it as a personal gift alongside the engraving ”Made For Tiffany”. The underside of the box is engraved with the mark 'B.C. 1887'. Silver hallmarks on the lid's underside and the box's bottom interior. Silver Hallmarks: Russian 84 silver proof, St. George Moscow, workmaster's initials ”GK”. Russia - 19th century. Weight: 1.6 oz., (46.3 g.) Dimensions: 1 1/2 x 1/2 in., (4 x 4 cm.)
