A PIERRE-AUGUSTE RENOIR & RICHARD GUINO LA PETITE LAVEUSE BRONZE SCULPTURE, 1910S - Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) and Richard Guino (1890-1973), a bronze sculpture of a young woman titled 'The Small Washerwoman'. Signed 'Renoir' on he base, numbered '88 10'. Richard Guino executed several versions of The Small Washerwoman sculpures under the direction of Renoir in preparation for large-scale statues. This particular figure was conceived in 1916. Different editions of this figure can be found in private and museum collections around the world, including the collection of Birmingham Museum of Art.
