A LARGE CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER ON ELEPHANT FEET, 20TH CEN.
A 19th/20th-century Chinese tripod censer, or incense burner, made of cloisonne and bronze. The entire body is decorated with elephant and floral motifs. The three legs and handles are shaped into the heads of elephants with the trunks acting as the feet and handles and the tusks made of bronze. The top cover is porous and made of bronze with a small bronze elephant figure finial.

Dimensions: H: 17 3/4 in., (45.1 cm.)
Condition: Very good. The bronze surfaces have a nice patina. The back of the small elephant figure on the lid has a small hole and dent.
