AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GILT-SILVER AND NIELLO DRINKING BOWL, 20TH CEN. - A stunning gilt silver and niello bowl from the workshop of renowned silversmith Andrei Adler. The bowl is beautifully decorated with floral niello-work along its exterior, held within a border depicted as draping ribbons with bows at each connection. The rim of the bowl is stamped with the initials of Andrei Adler as well as the Moscow Kokoshnik mark. Moscow, Russia - CA. 1908-1912 Weight: 7.4 oz., (210 g.)
