A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN KORNILOV PLATE, 19TH CEN.
This porcelain plate by Kornilov Bros is decorated with a red Imperial double-headed eagle painted in the Pan-Slavic style surrounded by geometric frieze, the rim features a Russian proverb in a stylized font, the verso is marked with a printed blue ink factory mark. St Petersburg, circa 1860-1880.
