A LARGE COLD-PAINTED VIENNA BRONZE OF A RUNNING MOOR, EARLY 20TH CEN.
An evocative depiction of a Moor in traditional dress chasing after someone with staff in hand, ready to strike, his loose sleeves flowing behind him. The piece was created by the foundry of Francis Xavier Bergmann and bears his 'B' in a vase maker's mark as well as the 'Geschutzt' copyright mark and the number '2897'.
