The stand is marked to the underside with 84 standard, maker's mark 'V. MOROZOV' in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant, workmaster's Cyrillic mark 'VK.'

Note: The "I.E. Morozov" trading house was the largest jewelry and gold-silver firm-shop of pre-revolutionary St. Petersburg. The company was founded in 1849 by Ivan Yekimovich Morozov, a goldsmith, a merchant of the first guild. The trading house located in Gostiny Dvor owned its jewelry workshop and a specialized workshop for silverware production.
