A KAROLY KRUSNYAK, HUNGARIAN, OIL ON CANVAS PAINTING - Karoly Krusnyak (1889-1960), an oil on canvas painting depicting three young women dressed in traditional peasant attire doing household chores. Signed by the artist lower right. Karoly Krusnyak was a Hungarian painter mostly known for his portraits of peasants, among them depictions of young women with their children, field workers, village festivities, etc. Ca. 1920s-1930s. Dimensions: 31 x 38 1/2 in., (78.7 x 97.8 cm.) Condition: Some wear to paint in a few places, mostly at the edges.
