AN ART DECO WATROUS FOR INTERNATIONAL STERLING SILVER FLASK - Watrous for International Sterling, sterling silver flask from the early 20th century and in Art Deco style, with an elegant, geometric design. It measures 7 1/4'' in height by 4 1/3'' in width by 2/3'' in depth, contains 3/4 of a pint, weighs 7.4 troy ounces (230 grams), and bears hallmarks and a monogram as shown. Footnote: Watrous was a silversmith founded in 1896 in Wallingford, Connecticut. Some of its pieces are in museum collections, including the Yale University Art Gallery.
