A WILLIAM DOWNES, COCONUT AND SILVER ENGLISH CUP FROM 1769 - An antique William Downes silver-mounted coconut cup on a circular pedestal foot. The coconut has a silver mount on the rim cut decoratively to display a waved motif. Downes' silver hallmark can be seen on the rim as a ”W.D.” England - 1769 3.5 oz. 100 g. Dimensions: H: 2 3/4 in. D: 2 7/8 in. Condition: The cup is in very good condition considering its age. Minor signs of wear and use.
