A PAIR OF ENGLISH CHELSEA PORCELAIN FIGURES, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Pair of well-modeled figures of a shepherd and shepherdess with dogs and sheep by Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory. Polychrome painted porcelain adorned with applied bocage florals and raised on Rococo bases.
British, late 18th century.
Dimensions: H: 11.5 in., (29.2 cm.)
Condition: Excellent condition overall with only the most minor of paint fading in some places. Subtle cracking to the knot of the cape on the chest of one figure. Tiny chip to end of ribbon on rear of other figure.
