A RARE COPPER ALLOY SCYTHIAN HELMET - This copper alloy round helmet is of Scythian origin and was designed to rest in line with the forehead and above the eyes. A single protrusion at the top of the helmet possibly for attaching decorative elements. Scythia - Ancient Era H: 7 1/2 in., (19 cm.) Condition: Good overall for the age. Oxidation and patina throughout. Chipping along the edges.
