A WHITE CAUCASIAN CHERKESKA WITH GILT EMROIDERED TRIM, CA. 1900 - A Caucasian Cherkeska of white wool with gilt, and embroidered trim throughout much of the coat. There are sixteen gazyr (probably later) pouches with silvery embroidery throughout, with fourteen simple decorative gazyr inserted in the pouches. Caucasia - CA. 1900 L: 43 in., (109.2 cm.) Condition: Good overall. Some damage in places from clothing-moths.
