A MAQBOOL FIDA HUSAIN, INDIAN (1913-2011), EARLY PAINTING
Maqbool Fida Husain, Indian (1913-2011), early work mixed media on canvas. Signed in the top left corner.
Provenance: according to the late collector and owner's son, the artwork is a part of the owner's late father's inheritance (Mirza Sami Baig Born, born: July 1, 1949, Hyd India, passed away in India visiting in 2013) which includes over 2500 artworks from India. The artworks were purchased directly from the artist in India while Mirza Sami Baig Born made multiple trips to visit the country.
55 x 42 in., (139.7 x 106.68 cm.)
Condition: Near perfect condition. Slight creasing in places from storage, could be resolved. Minor, nearly imperceptible, loss in places.
