A RRE LARGE RUSSIAN PORCELAIN CHARGER BY MALTSEV, CA. 1890 - A large porcelain charger by Maltsev with a superbly detailed gilt Imperial Eagle, showing even the individual barbs of each feather. The rim has been gilt with a similar level of mastery, with intricate, flourishing gilt filigree encompassing the entire rim, set within concentric circles of gilt trim. Imperial Russia - CA. 1890 D: 5 1/4 in., (38.5 cm.) Condition: Very good condition.
