A CHARLES COBELLE GOUACHE ON PAPER PAINTING - Charles Cobelle, a mixed media on paper painting of a harbor. The painting features small boats, figures of people and birds, and various buildings. Signed lower right in pencil. This painting was later made into a lithograph. Charles Cobelle (1902-1994) was an important 20th century French artist and one of the last links to the Open Art School of Paris. 21 3/4 x 33 in., (55 x 83 cm.) Condition: Very good.
