A RARE RUSSIAN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF SOBAKEVITCH BY GARDNER, 19TH CEN.
Russian painted porcelain figurine of Sobakevitch, a character of Nikolai Gogol's novel "Dead Souls". The figure is mounted on a small round base. Has a red Gardner Porcelain Factory in Moscow mark on the bottom.
Late 19th cen.
H: 8 1/4 in., (21 cm.)Condition: Perfect, no chips, cracks or restorations.
