A RUSSIAN SILVER KOVSH BY LYUBAVIN, CIRCA 1900S. - Russia, Lyubavin, 1899-1908. Russian silver kovsh of a characteristic form with a gilt interior. Stylized handle is decorated with a delicate flower engraved design. Hallmarked in Cyrillic ”Lubavin” beneath the Imperial Warrant, Kokoshnik mark, 875 silver proof hallmark. Weight: 30.5 oz., (864 g.) L:13 1/2 in., (34 cm.) H: 6 in., ( 15 cm.) W: 6 1/2 in., (17 cm.) Condition: Wear and minor scratching associated with age, otherwise good condition.
