A WWII JAPANESE NAVAL OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD - WWII Japanese Naval Officer dress sword with ray skin handle. The gilt hilt with folding side guard, pommel, mounts, and scabbard fittings are of gilded brass. The leather scabbard shows signs of wear. This sword could have been used in the Russo-Japanese War. L: 32 3/8 in., (82.3 cm.) Condition: Very good for the age. Minor signs of wear.
