A TIBETAN MONGOLIAN TRAVELING TROUSSE SET, 19TH C. - A fine quality Chinese trousse or travel set mounted in chased brass. It contains a single-edged blade knife with grip scales engraved with floral motifs and two ornate chopsticks, fit in a pierced-brass-mounted scabbard beautifully decorated with traditional embossed motifs. Late 19th - early 20th cc. L: 13 7/8 in., (35.3 cm.) Condition: Very good.
