A 19TH CEN. SHAN BURMESE SILVER-MOUNTED DHA SWORD/DAGGER - Antique 19th century short sword from the Shan people of eastern Burma. Features a single-edged steel blade, a handle carved of natural materials and the hammered silver hilt ferrule with braided wire rings adornments. The scabbard is made of wood covered with hammered sheet silver decorated with filigree. L: 15 3/4 in., (40 cm.) Condition: Good, the blade is pitted.
