AN AUSTRIAN MIDAS BEAR FUR NAPOLEONIC ERA HAT (1800-1810)
A black bearskin mitre-style hat with a brass front plate bearing the Hapsburg double-headed eagle flanked by grenades. Back lined in yellow wool piped with grey wool tape. Black leather chinstrap. Pasteboard-reinforced interior with tan leather sweatband and brown cotton lining.
