A WW1 AUSTRIAN M1905 DRAGOON OFFICER'S HELMET
Austrian M1905 Dragoon Officers' helmet. Black enameled metal body with brass trim and stamped-brass comb with a vignette of a lion in combat with a snake embossed on each side. Brass Austrian double-headed eagle front plate mounted to the helmet with threaded posts, washers and retaining nuts. Brass lion's head chinscale bosses and leather-backed, brass oak-leaf pattern chinscales. 2 ½-inch leather sweatband and maroon silk headlining.
