A RARE PRUSSIAN FIELD GREY GARDE DU CORPS M1916
Prussian Garde du Corps (Garde-Kurrassier-Regiment ) helmet. Field grey versions (wartime). It is much rarer than their peacetime counterparts. The leather-backed convex chin scales and one cocarde are missing. The liner is originalbut worn and damaged.
H: 11 1/4 in., (28.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, signs of age and wear. The eagle is loose in the base of the helmet. The inside lining has tears and rips.
