A SAFAVID TINNED COPPER BOWL, PERSIA, 16TH CENTURY - Of deep hemispherical form, standing on a short foot, engraved around the body with animals and meandering floral vines, featuring a frieze of continuous calligraphy on a hatched ground under the rim between two foliate bands. Dimensions : Rim: 13 1/4, base: 7 5/8, height: 6 3/8 in. Condition : Very good.
