CAT BRONZE LURISTAN, PERSIAN WAR AXE HEAD, 2000 BC. - Luristan, Persia. Northern Iran, middle 2nd millennium BC. Solid cast bronze axe-head with shaft replacement. Convex cutting edges perpendicular to each other. The axe head is decorate with cast geometrical design. Dimensions : Length (head): 8 1/4 in., 21 cm. Condition : Very good with shaft missing.
