A CAUCASIAN SILVER-MOUNTED FLINTLOCK PISTOL, 19 C - An exceptional quality Caucasian (Kubachi Region) miquelet pistol richly decorated with gold-inlaid silver and niello mounts. A Damascus steel round smoothbore barrel with gold inlay and maker's mark at the breech. The miquelet is inlaid (koftgari) with gold throughout. 19th century. Dimensions: L: 18 1/2 in., (47 cm.) Condition: Very good, mechanically sound.
