A DUTCH WEIDER ACTION TWO-BARREL BLUNDERBUSS, 18TH CEN. - The design of this unique flintlock blunderbuss made for two barrels of attack. After the first shot, the entire barrel assembly could be turned over 180 degrees to immediately fire a second shot. The lockplates and barrls are engraved. The wallnut stock is carved and mounted in engraved brass.Ca. 1750. Dimensions: L: 20 3/4in., (53 cm.) Condition: Very good considering the age. Perfect action. Mecniaccly sound.
