A WWII USSR MILITARY MEDAL OF NAKHIMOV, NUMBER 835 - A Soviet bronze medal of Nakhimov. 14,020 were issued from 1944-1994. On the obverse, there is a relief image of admiral Nakhimov in profile with the Cyrillic inscription 'Admiral Nakhimov' above. On the reverse, there is a convex image of a sailing ship, framed by a ring of a cable superimposed on two crossed anchors. Suspension devise with blue-white ribbon. Numbered '835' to the rim.
