A FIELD CAP GUN, 19TH C. - A model 1861 Civil War-style field cap gun with a tapered metal barrel and drop-shaped cascabel. Wooden carriage decorated with elaborate metal fittings. Dimensions: L: 14 3/4 in., (37.5 cm.) Condition: Very good overall with signs of wear and the gun barrel is slightly pitted.
