A BOHEMIAN ENGRAVED LIDDED RUBY GLASS POKAL, 19TH C. - A Czech Bohemian ruby glass pokal fitted with a faceted, beveled lid, which is topped with a pointed finial. In a typical goblet form with the body tapering below. Features engraved decorations depicting a peasant forest scene and a crowned coat-of-arms surmounted with a putto playing horn. The goblet is supported on a faceted baluster-shaped stem, which stands on a base shaped into petal lobes. Dates to the 19th century. Dimensions: H: 21 1/2 in., (54.6 cm.) Condition: Overall condition is good, with a few minor chips to the base.
