AN ENGLISH MENNECY SILVER-MOUNTED PORCELAIN SNUFF BOX, 18 C - A French Mennecy silver-mounted rectangular snuff box consisting of two separated parts made of soft paste porcelain. Molded with basketwork on the cover and base and basketwork panels to the sides. Hand-painted with flower sprays throughout the body. The inside cover is similarly decorated. Late 18th century. Dimensions: L: 3 in., (7.6 cm.) W: 2 1/8 in., (5.5 cm.) Condition: Overall condition good.
