A PAIR OF FRENCH PORCELAIN PLATES, LATE 18 CEN. - Two French late 18th-century porcelain plates decorated with gilded borders and grisaille scenes hand-painted after Giovanni Battista Cipriani (1727 - 1787), allegories of ”Comedy” and ”Tragedy.” Both plates are marked underneath with red letters ”D.F.” Dimensions: D: 9 3/16 in., (23.3 cm.)
