A CHINESE JIAN (DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD), BRASS-MOUNTED, 19TH C.
Of a characteristic form, the blade is decorated with copper-inlaid Chinese characters, the furniture (mounts) are made of pierced brass. The grip is of turned wood.
