A SYRIAN GLAZED POTTERY MOSQUE LAMP, 19TH CEN. - Qajar period (1785 - 1925) mosque lamp, made of blue glazed pottery. The lamp has a flattened sub-globular body and a tall trumpet neck. The lamp is hand-painted with a lush pattern of palmettes, the three handles with the chains for hanging are painted in stripes. Dimensions : H: 8 1/2 in., (23 cm.)
