AN ISLAMIC QAJAR LACQUER PAPIER-MACHÉ MIRROR CASE - Islamic Persian lacquered paper maché mirror case, 18th or 19th-century. Rectangular, with drop-out cover, both lid and reverse decorated with a dynamic scene of the battle of horsemen. The border is decorated with finely painted ornamentation with palmettes. Dimensions : 13 1/2 x 8 3/4 in., (34 x 22.5 cm.) Condition : Very good with light wear. Minor scratches and some gilding loss.
