A RUSSIAN HARDSTONE SILVER-MOUNTED AND ENAMEL BOX - Oval gilt-silver box. The case is decorated with polychrome patterns made using cloisonné enamel technique; the lid is inlaid with natural stone, presumably Orsk jasper. There are poorly distinguishable Russian hallmarks on the bottom and on the inside of the lid. Circa the late 19th - the early 20th century. Weight: 5.3 oz., (150 g.) Dimensions: 3 7/8 x 2 3/8 in., (10 x 6 cm.) Condition: Very good.
