A BURMESE DHA SILVER-MOUNTED SWORD, 19TH C.
A large silver-mounted Dha sword with double-handed grip. The hilt and scabbard are decorated with hand-hammered and engraved figures and floral motif, the pommel is a of spherical form chiseled with flora and geometrical motif. The single-edged blade is slightly curved it is covered with silver inlay depicting human figures and Brahmic script. 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 42 3/4 in., (108 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall, the silver mounts are intact with a tiny dent on the cartouche, no loose parts, the blade cutting edge is sharp, silver inlay is well preserved
