A GILT OTTOMAN TURKISH PALA SWORD OR KILIJ, 19 C. - With gold inlay decoration on the blade at forte and yalman featuring Arabic inscriptions, gilt-brass cross guard, and repousse gilt-brass mounts decorated with Arabic inscriptions and bird, black leather wire-stitched scabbard, characteristic form horn grip scales. Ca. 1800. Origin: Ottoman Empire. Dimensions: L: 29 27/64 in., (85 cm.) Condition: Very good with minor chips to the grip horn scales
