A GOLD RUSSIAN ORDER OF ST VLADIMIR 3RD CLASS
The Order of St Vladimir was created by Czarina Catherine the Great in 1782. Awarded for service to the nation, or with Swords for military service. It was revived by the Orthodox Church in Moscow in 1957 as a Church medal. Hallmarks: IL in Cyrillic and 56. Weigh .6 oz., 17.2 gr.
