Late Apulian red-figure kothon of a Follower of the Baltimore Painter. About 310 BC. Height 13,3cm, ø corpus 10,4cm. Mug with narrow neck and wide mouth as well as a double handle. Areas without glaze except underside are covered with a brown slip. On the corpus Eros adorned with jewellery sitting on a rock, offering a bowl with fruits and ivy-leaf and holding a ball with the right hand. Details painted in white and yellow. With copy of the invoice from 1978! Tiny chippings at the white colour, otherwise intact.
