Rookwood Pottery Creamer - decorated in maroon with a stylized design. Sara Sax, 1912. 2 7/8 inches high, 4 3/4 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches deep. Impressed Rookwood Pottery Flame mark, S1844/artist's cipher. The S1844 marking indicates a trial shape and the unusual glaze for 1912 is likely a trial as well.
