Segula * Ateret Tiferet Yisrael - Lemberg 1865 (תרכ”ה). First edition ~ with 9 rare leaves. - A Segula and blessing for protection and success. Sefer Ateret Tiferet Yisrael, ”revealing hidden things, explaining mysteries, ” secrets and allusions of Kabbalistic Torah on the weekly Torah portions, by the holy Rabbi Yisrael Charif of Satanov – a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. Lemberg - 1865 (תרכ”ה). First edition. A book of segula (spiritual Protection). The great masters of Chasidism wrote about the sanctity of this book and that simply owning it at home is a segula for protection of the household, for success in all matters, and for protection from all evil. In this edition, approbations from the Rebbes of Ruzhin were printed, along with approbations from the great and outstanding scholars of the generation. The Rebbe's and Geonim elaborate in their approbations with stories about the author's greatness in revealed and hidden Torah, and the extent of his closeness to his Rebbe, the Baal Shem Tov. Regarding the sanctity of this book, the Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura said that it is ”Holy of Holies, and it is like holy writings... the divine Kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropol, may his memory be a blessing for life in the World to Come, and is precisely like the holy book Ba'al 'Megaleh Amukot' by Rabbi Natan Shapira ob'm” (from the approbation of Rabbi Yisrael Mordechai, Av Beit Din of Khotyn). In the second edition, printed in Warsaw in 1871 (תרל”א), many additional approbations were included from the great Hasidic leaders, including the Rebbe's of the Chernobyl dynasty. Those who gave approbations in this edition and in the second edition lavish abundant blessings upon all who acquire the book. Here are some of their blessings: ”And as this holy book is full of holy names and names of angels beneficial for healing, and protection from the four primary categories of damage, and for an abundance of blessing and success, therefore the holy [Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura] said with his eloquent tongue: that these holy handwritten works of the author are beneficial for excellent protection and an abundance of peace and blessing”; ”to acquire this book... so that it may be in their home for protection and an abundance of blessing and success” (Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Shtefanesht); ”I say: every single person who acquires this holy book... his heart will be confidently firm, that the merit of the holy author, may his memory be a blessing for life in the World to Come... to bring blessing into their homes and to protect them with their wives, children, and household members in complete health, and to grant them success like good years for blessing” (Rebbe Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl); ”My friends, see and let the words of my brother and leader, the renowned Rabbi, supreme holy one, righteous foundation of the world, Rabbi R' Aharon, preacher... of the holy community of Chernobyl, may God protect it, for he pledged his soul to say: that every single person who acquires this book... his heart will be firm and confident that the merit of the holy author, righteous foundation of the world, may his memory be a blessing for life in the World to Come... to bring blessing into their homes, to protect them and grant them success according to their heart's desire” (Rebbe Rabbi Avraham of Trisk, author of ”Magen Avraham, ” brother of Rebbe Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl); ”And the merit of the author will stand for the buyers... to pour upon them blessing in children, life, abundant sustenance, and all good forever” (Rebbe the ”Tzemach Tzadik” of Vizhnitz); ”May this notebook be a safeguard for body and soul” (Admor Rabbi Avraham of Mikolayiv, son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Meir of Premishlan). *  In most copies, the book ends on page 47 (מז). Afterward, there are three unnumbered pages: the first is the last page of the book. The second and third pages list donors (=the subscribers), and at their end, a letter from the gabbai of the Rebbe from Sadigura and Rabbi Av Beit Din of Khotyn. In the copy before us , there are four 4  additional pages (in addition to the above) that are not found in most copies, and these pages are four which are nine . Below is a description of the pages. First page: includes at its beginning an introduction by the author's grandson (Avraham Yeshaya Yaffe), approbations from the Rebbe's Rabbi Y.Y. of Komarno, may his memory be a blessing for life in the World to Come, sons-in-law of the holy Rebbe from Premishlan, Rebbe Avraham of Mikolayiv, HaRI”M of Gliniany. Second page: a letter from Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Balichiver, Av Beit Din of Zaslav, to his family relative Rabbi A.Y. Yaffe, in whose possession the manuscript of the book was found. This page also includes additional compilations written by the author's grandson, (and printed in the third edition of the book (Lublin 1875), on page 82). Third page: names of the donors (=the subscribers).
