The book was edited and arranged by Hagaon Rabbi Yeshaya Asher Zelig Margaliot, one of the esteemed residents of Jerusalem, the gabbai of the home and trusted aide of the holy elder Rabbi Shlomo Eliezer Alfandari zt”l. Bound with: ”Hilchot Deot” by Rabbi Yisrael Frankfurter, Rabbi of the Congregation Tefilas Yisrael in Paris. Rabbi Yisrael Frankfurter (5634-5703), born in Lviv, to his father Rabbi David, a Komarna Chassid. A Talmudic Genius, and a Chassid. Wrote the books: Daat Yisrael on Hilchot Deot by Maimonides, Be'er Yisrael, Orchot Yisrael. In 5687, he arrived in Paris and served as a Rabbi there, until the Holocaust when he was murdered in the extermination camps. *
