In the margins of the first page, the stamp of Admor Rabbi ”Yehoshua ben HaRav Hamanoach Moharshal ztz”l zy”a - of Sosnowiec and now in Ostrova”. * Admor Rabbi Yehoshua of Ostrova (5579 - 5633), one of the Tzaddikim of Poland, son of Rabbi Shlomo Leib of Leczna. After his father, he led a large community of thousands of Chassidim and was known for his greatness and holiness. Rabbi Tzadok HaKohen of Lublin said about him that he was a ”Guardian of the Holy Covenant”. Author of the book ”Toldot Adam” (Józefów 5635), which was nicknamed ”the small Noam Elimelech”. His son-in-law was Admor Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Rabinowitz of Biala - the first in the Biala Chassidic dynasty. *
