MISHNAYOS TIFERES YISROEL, BERLIN, 1862, 5 VOLUMES OF THE SECOND EDITION WHICH WAS THE FIRST COMPLETE SET Zeraim, Moed , Nashim, Nezikin, and Kodshim First complete edition, with the ”Hilchisa Gevirta” added for the first time, as well as many other corrections and additions from the author. Brought to print by the son of the author, R. Baruch Yitzchok Lifshitz, with his additions and corrections as well. Seder Zeraim begins with several pages of introduction from R. Baruch Yitzchok Lifshitz, with fascinating details regarding his father’s life in general, and his monumental work in particular. These pages of introduction are not included in subsequent editions of the Mishnayos. The Tiferes Yisroel commentary, authored by R. Yisroel Lifshitz (1782-1860), Rav of Danzig, is one of the most widely recognized commentaries on the Mishnah.
