Rogatshover Gaon- Tsofnas Paneach, First Print Dvinsk, 1930 Second edition Very good condition Title page taped on R. Yosef Rosen (1858-1936), was born in Rogatchov and learned in the Slutzk Yeshiva under the Bais HaLevy together with R. Chaim Soloveitchik who was five years his senior. He subsequently learned under R. Yehoshua Leib Diskin in Shklov. In 1889, he became Rav of the Chassidic community in Dvinsk where he served for nearly fifty years alongside R. Meir Simcha Ha’Cohen who was the Rav of the Misnagdim in Dvinsk.
