Teshuvos Radach, Ostraha, 1834. Very good condition The Radach, Rabbi David Hakohein of Corfu (d. 1530) was one of great European sages in the era of the Spanish Expulsion. He corresponded extensively with the Re’em, Maharam Alshakar and Mahari ben Chaviv, author of the Ein Yaakov, as well as his own mentor Mahari Mintz. Rabbi Yosef Karo cites the Radach’s teshuvos in over twenty places in his landmark work, Beis Yosef.

ספר שאלות ותשובות תשובות הרד"ך לרבי דוד הכהן - מהדורה שניה אוסטרואה תקצ"ד | 1834. רבי דוד הכהן - מהאי קורפו המוכר יותר כ'הרד"ך מקורפו' (רכ"ה לערך - ר"צ). שימש ברבנות עיר הולדתו קורפו באיטליה עשרות בשנים והתכתב רבות עם גדולי דורו בהלכה כמו הרא"ם [רבי אליהו מזרחי] ורבי משה אלשקר. עם גירוש ספרד נזקק לשאלות הלכתיות שונות שהתעוררו אז וכפי שניתן לראות בספרו, הרבה לתקוף את האנוסים שנשארו בספרד משיקולי נוחות כבוד וממון. נפטר באדריאנופולי - טורקיה העותומנית שנת ר"צ.
