Extraordinarily rare!

Ho’il Moshe. Singular Edition. Prague, 1612.

From the author of Matteh Moshe

Composition on Torah and Rashi’s commentary by Rabbi Moshe Meth, Av Beis Din of Preimshla. The sefer includes two parts:
1. Be’er HaTorah – on the Torah and Five Megillos according to pshat and drush.
2. Be’er Heitiv – on Rashi’s commentary.
The two compositions were printed in two columns; Be’er HaTorah in block letters, and Be’er Heitiv in Rashi script.

Rabbi Moshe, (circa 1540-1606) Av Beis Din of Belz, Apta and Premishla was the prime disciple of the Maharshal who took him under his wing. In his sefer Matteh Moshe, he includes any customs and rituals that he witnessed in the home of the Maharshal. In this sefer, as well, he quotes the Maharshal frequently. Rabbi Moshe numbered among the Gedolim of his era and corresponded with the Bach and the Masas Binyamin.
