Famous Segulah for Success & Health by the Baal Shem Tov. Single Leaf.

Sacred folio featuring the Baal Shem Tov’s famous segulah of donating tzedakah to the Rabbi Meir Baal Haness Charity Fund with associated special prayer from the Holy Baal Shem Tov.
The words “From the Sefer Kesser Shem Tov” appear on the top of the page, followed by smaller text stating
“For success, or if one, heaven forbid, has any pain, robbery or loss, or anyone ill, rachmana litzlan, he should give to the pushkeh (charity box) of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness and should say four times, ‘Eloka d’Meir aneini, G-d of Meir, answer me.’”
This folio also includes the special prayer text instituted by the Baal Shem Tov:
“…Just as You heard the prayer of your servant Meir and performed miracles and wonders for him, so do for me, and for all Your nation Yisrael who require hidden and revealed miracles…
The bottom section of the page proclaims the importance of giving money to tzedaka before candle lighting stating in Yiddish "Our sages have said that every women should give 1 coin (Groshen) before lighting candles on Shabbos and 2 coins (Groshen) before lighting candles for Yom Tov and that she shall pray the following prayer "
Ribono Shel Olam in the zechus of the Tzedaka which I am giving I should merit to have children tzaddikim and chassidim".
It also includes a warning to avoid borrowing from the pushkeh even with a collateral.
The original source of the famous segulah attributed to the Baal Shem Tov is in the sefer Kesser Shem Tov Vol. 2 (Zolkova, 1795). Many famous Chassidic masters who perpetrated the legacy of the Baal Shem Tov penned emotional letters and appeals urging Jews around the world to donate generously to the Charity Fund of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness.
